The NADDPOD Gift Exchange is an annual gift giving event taking place on Twitter, Tumblr, and Instagram, for fans of Not Another D&D Podcast.This year, sign ups are open at the start of December. - All wish lists and gifts have to be NADDPOD related.- All participants have to join the Discord, as that is where we will keep in contact.- No gifts can include hateful imagery or messages.- No gifts can be made using AI in any way.- This is a no NSFW event.- All gifts must be created by the gifter, it is not allowed to just purchase a gift.- Only sign up if you believe you will be able to complete your gift within the assigned time. If something comes up after you've signed up please contacts us ASAP.- Do not post your gift publicly or reveal who your giftee is prior to gifting week.- All gifts must be able to be shared with your giftee on Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, or Discord by the end of gifting week. Posting them publicly is not a must but it's highly encouraged.- When posting gifts publicly please use the hashtag #NADDPODGifting so we can share it. Fics can be added the Naddpod Gift Exchange 2025 collection on Ao3. If posting art, we highly encourage writing a description/alt text for it (see FAQ if you're not sure where to start).

What can I create?
You can make anything! If you are planning on creating a physical gift please make sure to let the mods know in the sign up sheet, as you will need to be assigned a giftee who is comfortable giving you their address. Some gift examples are fan art, writing, music, playlists, or whatever else you can think of!What if I have to drop out?
Please take a look at the schedule and only sign up if you believe you will be able to make a gift during the event. If something does come up, contact us ASAP so we can reassign your gifter and giftee. If you believe you can still participate but will need an extension let us know, we will work with you can contact your giftee.How will I be notified of who my giftee is?

You are more than welcome to contact your giftee anonymously, but please do not reveal who your giftee is prior to gifting week. If your giftee doesn’t have any open ways for you to message them anonymously the Discord server has a bot that lets you do it through Discord.What do you mean by alt text/a description for art? Why? How?
Image descriptions, often put in alt text, are a way to make art more accessible. The goal is to explain what the focus of the image is in a text format for people who are blind, visually impaired, or using a screen reader.
An example of a simple description would be: "A drawing of the Band of Boobs, sleeping in one big bed." If you want to get into more detail, here's a short bluesky thread that gives some additional tips.
